The best of both worlds
Michal Pražský is a glassblower and interior designer. In 2017, he graduated from the industrial design studio at UMPRUM with a beautiful set of beer glasses. Already during his studies he learned to work with the complex but exciting technology of silvering, thanks to which the glass comes to life and gives the illusion of graceful movement. It was this technique that inspired Michal Pražský to create a collection of bowls and lamps that resemble a cloudy water surface. Hence the name of the Waves collection.
However, product design is not its only strong point. Michal Pražský is well known in his field for perfectly combining product design with industrial design. A shining example will be the new soon-to-open ZOOT stores, as well as his apartment in Žižkov, where he lives with his wife, young son and cat.
