Emma Stocklassa is a freelance designer and artist based in Stockholm. Over the past year, after graduating from the University of Art, Craft and Design in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2023, she has participated in a number of collaborations and exhibitions. And now, she has brought her work to her home city of Prague. She creates everything by hand, handling every step from design to manufacturing herself. Emma blends her training in interior architecture and furniture design to craft playful objects. She finds joy in exploring materials firsthand, experimenting with their properties to unveil unexpected nuances in her designs.
The "accents" that make her work authentic stem from a combination of personal passion, cultural influences, and dedication to craftsmanship. Emma works only with techniques she finds exciting and interesting, always striving to infuse her creations with a sense of sincerity and depth. This dedication contributes to their authenticity, which she hopes resonates with viewers.
